I’m a highly skilled video producer with experience as a shooter, writer, director and editor. I’ve produced hundreds of videos across a variety of publications including WIRED, Al Jazeera, The Atlantic, The New Yorker and The Guardian.

From 2016-2020 I was a video producer with WIRED and Condo Nast Entertainment based in San Francisco. I shot, produced and edited smart and visually engaging videos about science, engineering, entertainment and tech, including episodes of our YouTube documentary series “Obsessed” as well as the popular sports science show “Almost Impossible.”

From 2013-2016 I produced short documentaries for the award-winning current affairs show “America Tonight” on Al Jazeera America. I was involved in every stage of production, from researching, pitching and budgeting to filming, writing, editing and digital content creation. I worked on stories covering a wide range of topics including immigration, criminal justice reform, the environment and arts and culture. I work well as part of a team but I’ve also produced several stories as a one-man band.

Prior to America Tonight I worked on several hour long television documentaries and as an Associate Producer with National Geographic Explorer. From 2008-2010 I served in the Peace Corps as a youth and families volunteer in Ecuador and in 2013 I completed my masters degree in documentary production at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism.

I mostly shoot on the Sony FS7 and Sony A7SIII and I have a commercial drone license. I’m also a strong editor and am well versed in Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer.
